Misty S. Moon, M. Ed.

- Director

Hello! My name is Misty Moon, and I'm thrilled to be the new Director at CSS. To let you know a little about myself... I have a Master's degree in Counselor Education, a Bachelor's in Special Education, and I'm currently working on a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I've worked in social services for 7 years with homeless Veterans at United Way of Central AL and Tornado Disaster Relief at ARCH and Lutheran Ministries of AL. Prior to that, I was a School Counselor and Special Education Teacher for 9 years. I'm married to Brian Moon, and he works in social services with Easter Seals of West Alabama, serves in the Army National Guard, and is in seminary to be a Military Chaplain. We're blessed to have 2 beautiful and healthy daughters, Raegan (13) and Lily Kate (11).  I look forward to getting to know you, and I'm thrilled to be part of such an amazing ministry!
